The huge advantage of WBV over other exercise equipment is that it makes all the health benefits of exercising accessible and fun!

It’s so easy to get started. All you need to do is to step on the whole body vibration machine, turn it on and have a ride. WBV gets your body moving, unleashing the numerous benefits of exercising- better circulation, lymphatic drainage-the whole system gets stimulated! You actually will enjoy working out with WBV! Getting moving has never been easier. Spending up to ten minutes a day on a WBV machine has shown to deliver extraordinary results. Fitness finally has becomes fun, in less time!

This is not a passing fad. Initially developed 50 years ago by Russian scientists to counteract muscle degeneration of the cosmonauts caused by living in zero gravity for long periods of time, the technology is now widely accepted by athletes and doctors alike.
At PowerVibeUSA, we believe that the consumer needs to know some basics about this technology as purchasing a WBV unit is an investment into your Health and Well-being! Unfortunately, there are widespread false and misleading statements abound on the Internet.

We want you to be an informed buyer and have compiled some “Buyers Tips” to help you make the right decision as to which type of unit to buy!

1. Check the quality of material used to make the machine. Make sure mechanical parts are made of quality steel. You may come across machines that are made of plastic parts. Plastic is fine for aesthetic items like covers & handles. Make sure the weight-bearing structures are steel as this will affect durability.

2. Make sure that the machine is sold by authorized dealers. Many people are not authorized sellers and are selling low quality machines. When in doubt check with the Main Distributor or call other dealers to check.

3. Does the fitness machine offer the full range of frequency required to get the health and fitness results you desire?

4. Check the warranty of the unit you are looking to buy. A 2 year warranty is offered by most reputable products.

5. Make sure the unit does not make strange or excessive noise when you first use it.

6. Make sure all the accessories are present at delivery.

7. How easily can the unit be serviced if needed?

8. If you are buying the unit as home exercise equipment, make sure that you have sufficient room for it.

9. Make sure that the machine fulfills your need. Do not buy something with more or fewer features than you’ll require.

10. Do not use price as a gauge of quality. Make your purchase a worthwhile investment.

PowerVibeUSA hopes that the information above is helpful in making your buying decision. When evaluating WBV equipment we are confident you will come to that conclusion that we offer the best products and service at the best pricing.

We sincerely hope to be your Exercise and Wellness partner for a long time to come!

Do you sit all day long? Are you hunched over a computer all day? Do you rarely take lunch breaks away from your desk? Sitting too much is bad for you. Not only does it place pressure on the low back and tailbone, causing pain and even sciatic nerve trouble for some, but recent studies also found that the more time people spend sitting each day, the more likely they are to suffer from serious health conditions.

Are you super stressed? Where things get bad is if the stress becomes chronic and your body and brain are constantly producing stress hormones like norepinephrine and cortisol. Physical activity can stop the production of cortisol and get rid of tension held in your muscles.

WBV is perfect for loosening up your entire body and relieving pent up stress. Standing on a whole body vibration platform even for just a few minutes will supercharge all the cells in your body and give you energy to continue working. WBV increases your blood flow and oxygenation to your entire body. In order for a muscle to do any contraction, it needs to burn glucose and oxygen which are both in your blood. As muscle contractions increase, so does the need for oxygen and glucose for the muscle. Your body supplies it by increasing your heart rate to get the necessary nutrients to the muscle. Improved circulation of blood and oxygen increases your body’s ability to absorb good nutrients, respond to hormones, and eliminate waste.

Many corporations are including WBV equipment in corporate fitness centers. Because WBV is safe, fast and highly effective, it’s become a great solution for boosting employee health.

Exercise can reduce pain and disability by decreasing muscle inhibition and by improving local circulation. Unfortunately, most osteoarthritis sufferers tend to not adhere to an exercise regimen due to the discomfort associated with working out. The more difficult the exercise, the less likely they will do it. Whole Body Vibration (WBV) is particularly suited for these people because it exercises the postural system.

WBV is easy to use, the exercise sessions are short and best of all it is safe.

When it comes to back pain, the best remedy is stopping it before it starts. So, consider this prescription for prevention: Exercise. Simple moves you can do may help you keep back pain at bay. Regular exercise can help improve your overall fitness and may decrease the chances of back injuries.

Certain types of exercises are especially beneficial when it comes to your back.

Strengthening exercises including core strengthening and resistance training, build up the muscles that provide support for your body.

Stretching may improve the extension of muscles and other soft tissues, which can reduce stiffness.

In addition to exercise, it’s important to remember these tips to help prevent back injuries:

Practice good posture

Maintain a healthy weight

Avoid lifting heavy items when you can. If you must lift something heavy, be sure to keep your back straight and lift by putting the stress on your legs and hips. Don’t bend over the item.

What if you have already hurt your back? Exercise isn’t just for strengthening and preventing injury. In many cases it may help relieve certain types of back pain. Going about your usual activities, as tolerated, may help relieve stiffness and pain. Moving your body not only keeps blood and nutrients flowing, it helps reduce inflammation and muscle tension. It’s always a good idea to check with your doctor before you begin an exercise program for a sore back. They may be able to help you with determining which exercises would be most beneficial.

Whole Body Vibration(WBV) makes normal strength and flexibility training more effective. The direct effect of whole body vibration stimulates blood flow to ligaments and tendons and enhances the stretch reflex. WBV also increases circulation. This allows new tissues to build and grow, allows the oxygenation of cells, increases metabolism and flushes the toxins out of the body at a higher and faster rate.

Whole body vibration is a sensible choice for combating and preventing back pain because it is safe, fast, and effective.

Fitness, the easy and convenient way…

The two biggest barriers to a successful fitness regimen are often the initial commitment and the subsequent stick-to-itiveness. So, that begs the question: How can I start a fitness program and stick to it to get the results I want?

A few things to keep in mind are:
• Pick an exercise you like. For example, if you hate jogging and dread doing it, don’t try to talk yourself into it every day, simply do something else.

•	Figure out what time of day suits you. If you’re not a morning person it’s not realistic to think you’ll stick to an AM workout program. The snooze button is just too tempting. Take this from someone who knows!
• Set an appointment with yourself. Write it on your calendar like any other appointment and commit that time to yourself and good health. I suggest looking at your schedule for the week and then slotting in times when you know you can reasonably fit in exercise.
•	Begin with realistic expectations. If you’re not in the habit of working out don’t expect to start off exercising 5 days/week. Start with a couple of days and work up to a more frequent, regular regimen. Ultimately aim to be physically active most or all days.
• Keep it convenient. If you can exercise in your home that is the ultimate in convenience. Consider joining a gym that is near your home or office. Or, walk out your front door and get moving.

Coming up: How whole body vibration fits into your fitness regimen.
